- Camp Philosophy: We seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our campers and mentor both our campers and staff in their Christian lives. This is done through building caring, Christ-centered relationships in our beautiful outdoor wilderness setting.
- Our staff are committed to working together in unity of purpose and spirit, putting aside minor differences for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- When we work together with our sole purpose to be the salvation and spiritual growth of the campers for the glory of God, we see God work in amazing ways!
Our staff positions:
Our staff positions are open for individuals age 18+ who are willing to serve in any capacity needed while at camp. Preference will be given to those with previous camp ministry experience and horse experience, but those without camp ministry experience may also apply.
Our SMC staff team is limited to a mixed group of 5-6 staff members. Staff work together with the campers in all aspects of camp life: building fires, carrying water, horse care, food prep, and other camp chores. Typically, someone will be designated to be in charge of food, in charge of the horses, and a main Tent Leader for the Guy/Girl tents will be assigned. However, all staff work together to accomplish the tasks related to camp life.
